Pacific Grove Project
This project in Pacific Grove, California, was designed with crevice plantings in mind. A variety of low-growing groundcovers creep and crawl between the joints of a stepping stone path that crosses a dry creek and leads to a hidden patio tucked behind a decorative redwood fence. The stone patio is adorned with a seating wall and rock water feature. The challenge of this project was to design a beautiful garden that would be attractive to the clients but unattractive to the hungry resident deer that roam the streets at night in search of food.
