Here is an example of a common landscape job completed by Carmel Point Landscapes in Carmel, California (Monterey county). No matter how big or small your landscape project is - we are happy to help design, install and maintain your yard.
Brief description of the landscape installation process:
First, we carefully removed the overgrown Podocarpus without cutting any irrigation pipes and electric wires in the process (This was not easy). Next we replaced the old shrubs with new, drought tolerant plants. We used 5gal Anigozanthus (Kangaroo paw) and 1gal Erigeron (Santa Barbara daisy). The existing Aeonium (succulents) were transplanted in a decorative container by the patio. After planting we gave it one last raking before we top dressed the bed with small bark and adjusted the irrigation system. At the end of the project we cleaned up really good and hauled away the old bushes to the dump. During our last routine maintenance we noticed a humming bird visiting the new plantings. Designing with plants that attract humming birds and butterflies is one of our great pleasures of landscaping.
